CYNTHIA LANANH

PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Based in San Francisco, Cynthia is a full-service residential designer, focusing on residential projects and boutique hospitality and boutique commercial projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as select unique locations in the nation. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in interior architecture & design, she moved to Milan, Italy, to embark on a design internship to foster her love of architecture & design, which serendipitously launched her passion for travel, lifestyle, and all things creative.

Since then, she's accumulated over 15 years of design and interior architecture experience, having worked at some of the top architecture & interior design firms in San Francisco and New York City, on a range of projects including boutique hotels, bars, restaurants, and high end residences.

Her aesthetic is clean, minimal, warm, natural and intentionally curated, while she also works with clients to create personalized aesthetics fit for each project. She enjoys layering in texture, clean lines, a neutral color palette, and blending modern silhouettes with classic details.

Lananh is her middle name and means orchid in Vietnamese. Naming her studio with her Vietnamese name is an homage to her heritage and culture.

In the summer of 2019, she launched her studio and began consulting on projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Cynthia has been featured in Wall Street Journal, House Beautiful, Homes & Gardens, & Apartment Therapy.

TURK

SPRING INTERN

Turk aspires to be a furniture designer one day. He enjoys zoomies when he’s in the studio, and jumps onto furniture often to ensure the structural integrity of each piece. Eager to learn, he is always rewarded with positive reinforcement & treats.

EMERSON

DESIGN DIRECTOR

Emerson directs the design team. As a natural leader, he dictates the day-to-day studio schedule to revolve around his daily walks & treat times. Amidst deadlines, there is somehow always time for belly rubs. Emerson joined the studio in 2020.

SAMPLE LIBRARIAN

CHET

Chet ensures the quality of fabric & finish samples for projects by chewing on them regularly. As the friendly librarian, he organizes the library inventory by order of his favorite tasting samples. Chet joined the studio in 2021.
